A compact, full-tang rancher knife handmade in Central Texas. Built for everyday work on the farm, ranch, or trail. 14C28N stainless steel clip-point blade, green and black G-10 handle scales, and a hand-stitched leather cross-draw sheath. Carries flat on the belt and pulls clean when you need it.
Description
Built for the people who actually use a knife every day, not the ones who hang them on a wall. This Rancher is sized right for chores you don’t think twice about: cutting twine, opening feed bags, dressing small game, or slicing your lunch in the truck.
Handmade in Central Texas. Every Rancher is built one at a time by hand. The G-10 scales are shaped, sanded, and finished in our shop. The leather sheath is cut, wet-formed, and saddle-stitched by hand. No assembly line, no overseas manufacturing, no shortcuts. Each one is slightly different, the way handmade things should be.
The Blade Ground from 14C28N stainless steel, the drop-point profile gives you a strong tip for piercing work and a long curved belly for slicing. The satin finish resists corrosion around livestock, moisture, and the salt that comes with both.
Full tang means the steel runs the entire length of the knife, top to bottom, hidden inside the handle scales. There’s no joint, no weld, no weak point. Pry with it, baton with it, work it hard. The handle and the blade are one piece.
The Handle G-10 is a fiberglass-and-resin laminate originally engineered for aerospace and electrical use. It won’t swell, crack, or rot like wood, and it grips even better when your hands are wet, dirty, or gloved. The green and black layers are visible in the grain, giving each knife its own pattern. Secured with two stainless screws so the scales can be removed for deep cleaning if needed.
The Sheath The hand-stitched leather cross-draw sheath rides flat against your belt and angles the handle forward for a natural, low-profile draw. The cross-draw carry keeps the knife out of the way when you’re sitting in a tractor seat, on a horse, or in a truck. Saddle-stitched by hand with edge-finished trim. The leather will darken and develop character with use.
