The clang of a dinner bell will bring out a hearty “time for dinner” or “come and get it” from just about every group that comes int the shop.
Here at Heritage Forge we have hand made untold thousands that have found their place on porches across the country. The last few years we have introduced big changes to our bells—the first is the hook on the bottom chord that can hang the ringer, was inspired by a triangle that a woman brought in for us to restore. Built by her late husband and a friend, it had a beautiful tone that ours lacked. We discovered that it was the “hook” and incorporated it into ours! Second is personalizing the bells by stamping names into them. This was the idea of our friend Joanna Gainnes of the Fixer Upper show—it was quite a hit!
